[Jul 28th, 04:51] is Layanan Telkom dan Kecepatan Tanggapannya

Bisa dibilang tidak ada sih.

Sulit memang, kalau sektor penting semacam telekomunikasi ditangani lembaga yang hanya tahu menarik keuntungan tetapi tidak tahu melayani. Setelah sehari penuh seluruh pemakai telepon di Kota Makassar dengan nomor berawal 4 tak dapat dihubungi dan menghubungi, akhirnya tanda-tanda perbaikan terlihat, atau tepatnya, terdengar. Telepon kini bisa dihubungi. Sayangnya, nomornya sama sekali bukan nomor sebelumnya! Dan parahnya lagi, Speedy juga ikut terganggu. Koneksi internet paling lama bertahan 15 menit, kemudian terputus. Luar biasa. Selamat deh, Telkom. Sehari kerja ini ditunggu hasilnya setelah sebelumnya sejak pagi telah menghubungi 147 sebanyak 2 kali dan melaporkan gangguan ini lengkap dengan nomor asli dan nomor yang tertukar, tak ada tanda-tanda sedikit pun menuju normal.

PLN menggilir listrik tanpa jadwal ataupun pemberitahuan, sekarang Telkom mematikan sambungan dan menukar nomor. Besok PDAM tidak lagi mengirim air tapi anggur mungkin? Duh.

Update
Sudah 2 hari kerja, masih belum ada perbaikan. Nomor sekarang tertukar dengan nomor yang berbeda dari yang kemarin! Ditambah dengan fakta besok hari libur nasional (tanggal merah), sepertinya akan tertunda sampai 2 hari lagi … Telkom tak mengenal kata krisis bagi pelanggan, hanya kata tagihan pelanggan, rupanya. Begitukah efek monopoli?

Akhirnya baik kembali. Dan keluhan yang disampaikan melalui website resmi Telkom ditanggapi dengan baik (kejutan yang menyenangkan!).

[Jul 18th, 08:17] is Firebug 1.2 for Firefox 3

It's NOT an update from Firebug 1.05.

Well, silly me. After many desperate moments working with ExtJS on cakePHP without the help of Firebug to tell me what is going on with the AJAX requests, I finally went to the Firefox Add-ons page just to browse around. And to my surprise, when I check the Firebug Add-on there’s actually a newer version that work on Firefox 3!

All this time I just use the find updates from the Add-ons menu directly, and there’s not much information there to tell me that a Firefox 3 compatible version of Firebug is available. All I see is a notification of the incompatibility of Firebug 1.05 and that there’s no new update for it. Why on earth I never thought of checking directly to the Firefox Add-ons page ?
